Portraits

My love of portraiture began as a young child. As well as filling my sketchbooks with drawings of my family and anyone else that happened to be visiting, I also spent many hours depicting the family cat.

I studied at Brighton College of Art and, whilst I continued to draw portraits, I turned to illustration as a career and spent 10 years illustrating children's books. It was after I started painting my own children when they were babies that I began to take on portrait commissions.

As well as working on portrait commissions of people, pets and houses I also draw perspectives and artists impressions from plans for developers and architects.
